New partnership: the Association of Corporate Treasurers

Do you work in treasury, risk or corporate finance? If so, you may be interested to know that ACCA has recently signed an agreement with the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) that offers a fast-track route to their qualification.

ACT is the leading professional body for international treasury providing the widest scope of benchmark qualifications for those working in these areas. The new agreement means that ACCA members will to be able to sit the Associate Member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers Diploma in Treasury (AMCT) and obtain the AMCT designation under a fast-track scheme. In addition, members will receive a 10% discount on the course fee for the Certificate in International Treasury Management (CertITM) part of the qualification.

The AMCT Diploma is made up of three stages and all ACCA members are automatically exempt from the AMCT Stage 1 Certificate in Financial Fundamentals for Business. In order to gain the ACMT qualification, members will therefore only be required to sit Stage 2 (the CertITM) and two elective certificates at Stage 3. Members can also choose to sit individual ACT certificates on a modular basis if they prefer and still benefit from the fast track process if they wish to go on to achieve the AMCT Diploma.
