Forum is a first
ACCA Caribbean hosted a CPD forum in Port of Spain, Trinidad, on 12 March, entitled High Performance through Professional Development - the first event of its kind to be held in the Caribbean.
The event was jointly hosted by Brenda Lee Tang, ACCA Caribbean head of corporate development, and Shane Kissoon, ACCA Southern Caribbean manager, and featured presentations and workshops on the benefits of CPD in the current economic climate, coaching and mentoring skills for finance professionals, the importance of ethics, and leadership in the finance profession.
Sara Llewellyn and Linda Calder, professional development managers from ACCA's London head office, also attended the forum, at which delegates particularly welcomed the topical discussions that were being debated.
