Disclosures on managing human rights risks

ACCA and Net Balance Foundation are pleased to share their latest research, focusing on the adequacy of disclosure about risk management and reporting quality of companies in the ASX 100.

Some key research findings:

1. 47 ASX 100 companies identified as ‘exposed’ to human rights risks through their areas of operations

2. 90% appear to have management systems that are insufficient to mitigate exposure to human rights risks.

3. Only 15% disclose evidence of human rights policy commitment and only 6% are judged to have adequate reporting on human rights management and outcomes.

You can access a digital copy of this report and subsequent research reports here.

If you would like further information about the research report and/or would like to provide feedback and comments, please contact ACCA on 02 8245 0222 or Mark Lyster from Net Balance on 0412 295 661.
