ACCA Announces New Head of Australia and New Zealand
ACCA is delighted to announce the appointment of John Winter as the new permanent Head of Australia and New Zealand.
John is a senior marketing professional by background with experience across the recruitment industry, membership organisations and the banking and finance sector. His most recent role was as Chief Marketing Officer for leading recruitment firm, Hudson. He has also worked for a major division of insurance firm QBE and was previously Director of Communications for the NSW Rural Fire Service - an organisation with 69,000 volunteer members. John holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of NSW, majoring in Economics and Finance.
"In joining ACCA, my primary focus is to build the ACCA brand in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring that members are appropriately recognised for their skills and the standing of their qualification", said John.
"In particular, we will be working hard to build awareness amongst employment-decision makers to enhance the recognition of the ACCA qualification. This will be underpinned by a new employer and recruitment industry awareness campaign."
"In the process, we will also be enhancing our member communication and events program to ensure that ACCA members are able to build effective business networks and continue to see ACCA as a source of their ongoing learning and development."
